The apps stay private. The website is a bit more complicated, because of ads.

The apps
Grandad Solitaire and Alcohol Units do not collect personal data. They have no accounts, no analytics, and no ads. Settings stay on your device. That has not changed.
This website
The running articles and running tools may show advertising from Google AdSense. The home page, this privacy page, and the app pages do not.
We do not run our own accounts, newsletters, or comment forms. We do not sell your data. We do not have a Leavesake login.
The target-time calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us.
Google AdSense, cookies, and ads
On pages with ads, Google may set cookies, read your IP address, and use other identifiers to serve and measure advertisements. That can include personalised ads if you agree to them.
Google is an independent company. Their use of data is described here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are in the UK, the EEA, or Switzerland, you should see a consent message before personalised ads. You can refuse. You may then still see non-personalised ads, or fewer ads. You can change your mind through that same message.
Ads do not appear until AdSense is switched on for this site. Until then, no Google ad cookies are loaded by Leavesake.
What we receive from Google
If ads are running, Google may show us aggregated reports (for example impressions and estimated earnings). We do not get a list of who you are.
How long data is kept
Ad cookies are controlled by Google, not stored on a Leavesake server. We do not keep a visitor database.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU you can ask what data we hold, ask for it to be deleted, or complain to the ICO. For this site, the honest answer is: we are not holding a profile on you. For Google’s side, use the consent tools and Google’s own privacy settings.
